Many people across the world fall prey to cyber crime. There are definitive guidelines to follow for being safe online.
Children must not access the net as they are easily targeted for online serial abuse by unknown faces.
Personal details like phone numbers, photos, or addresses must never be shared as they can be morphed and used for extortion.
Messages or phone calls from unknown websites must never be answered as other personal details may be hacked.
Never befriend unknown people on Facebook or Instagram as they may be scrupulous. Never share your password or ID with anyone.
These are some imperative things to be kept in mind. There are both positive and negative aspects of the internet. Let us keep our children and the rest of us safe.
