Today, Sunita Williams is a household name, thanks to her space missions; more so, stuck in ISS and takes time to return to the Earth. She has an Indian link as her parents are Deepak Pandya and Bonnie Pandya. She's 58 years old now and was born on the 19th of September, 1965, in Ohio, the United States. She's one of the best astronauts that America has. She has many successful missions to her credit. Right now, she's up above in the ISS as the capsule, Boeing Starliner developed glitches, and she needs to stay till February next year! She has incredible records for her accomplishments. For instance; 7 hours of space walk, clocking 50 hours, and 40 minutes, the longest for a woman! A former retired navy officer, she was assigned to the ISS expeditions 32 and 33. Added to these, she was a member of expeditions 14 and 15. She has proven that women can reach the sky, no holds barred! Let us pray for her safe return as she's a trailblazer in her own right!
